Egg white pancakes are my go-to breakfast when I am craving carbs in the morning. They are loaded with protein and will keep me full for hours. I usually top my egg white pancakes with Walden Farms Chocolate Syrup or I make a protein glaze simply by mixing vanilla protein powder and water. They have a hint of sweetness and taste like an indulgence, but at only 289 calories, they fit right in with a healthy lifestyle.
- 5 egg whites
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Let sit for a few minutes to thicken.
- Preheat a nonstick skillet on med-high. Makes 5 small pancakes or 2 1/2 large pancakes.
